Ceiling décor is one of our favorite ways to completely transform a space!
From hanging balloon topiaries at Musco Lighting and Chick-fil-A to suspended starbursts for iHeartRadio’s event benefiting Pinky Swear Foundation, we love taking the décor UP. These installations add color and impact without taking up valuable floor space—and they make the entire room feel like an event.

🏈 GET GAME DAY READY!
We’re giving away a FREE 6-foot balloon garland for rivalry weekend!
HOW TO ENTER:
1. Comment who you think will win the Iowa vs. Iowa State game.
2. Comment as many times as you want! Every comment gives you another chance to be the last one.
3. LAST COMMENT WINS! I’ll randomly choose a cutoff time sometime between 1:00–3:00 PM TODAY. The person with the last comment before I call it wins!
You won’t know when I’m stopping it… so keep those comments coming.
Winner must be able to pick up the garland.
Let the rivalry begin! Who’s taking it — Iowa or Iowa State? 🏈

Five years ago, when Teresa opened @westfortymarket , I surprised her with a balloon grill.
At the time, I was incredibly proud of it.
But one of the things I love most about balloon art is that you’re never done learning.
Over the last five years I’ve learned new sculpting techniques, better proportions, cleaner construction methods, and how to add those small details that bring a sculpture to life.
So for West Forty’s 5-year anniversary, I decided to revisit one of my favorite creations and see how far I’ve come.
Thank you, Teresa, for supporting local businesses and allowing me to be a small part of your journey from day one.
Stay tuned this week. I’ll be sharing a side-by-side comparison of the original grill versus the 2026 version. 🔥

Every great balloon design is built on hundreds of little details.
Lately I’ve been spending time learning balloon distortion techniques, something I’ve wanted to learn for a long time. These small adjustments allow balloons to take on entirely different shapes and add a level of realism that standard inflation just can’t achieve.
This Mario-inspired Piranha Plant is a simple example, but it’s these techniques that help transform balloons into characters, props, and themed decor that really make people stop and look.
Still learning. Still growing. Still obsessed with finding new ways to make balloons do things they weren’t supposed to do. 🎈🌱

This one feels a little different to post.
I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and it hit me… I truly have made it as an artist.
Ever since I was a kid, I was always creating. Drawing, designing, building, trying to turn whatever I could find into something cool. My mom was always painting and creating, and she made sure I had the best Valentine’s Day box every single year. My dad was out in the shop working with wood, and I’d be right there with him messing around with scraps, figuring things out as I went.
Creativity was just always around me.
I’ve got cousins who built their lives as artists, and I remember thinking how cool that was. And now… I’m sitting here realizing I’m doing the same thing.
For myself.
That’s a wild feeling.
What started as just loving to make things has turned into something real. Something that supports my family, serves amazing clients, and lets me bring ideas to life every single day.
I don’t take that lightly.
If you’ve supported Squeak in any way, shared a post, hired us, told a friend… you’ve played a part in this. And I’m grateful for it.
This is just the beginning.
Back by popular demand… and this heel is making a statement 👠🔥

Freddy, Chica, Bonnie & Foxy showed up in full twisted glory for the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 release at B&B Theatres Ankeny!
From the giant red “2” to the character details (those eyes tho 😳), this build was a total community collaboration with @creationswithatwist and such a fun way to bring movie magic to life. 🎬✨
Would you take a selfie next to these guys… or nope right out of there? 😂👇

When the animatronics crash the movie premier… RUN 👀
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 just popped off at B&B Theatres Ankeny , literally.
We teamed up with @creationswithatwist to twist up Freddy & the gang for the ultimate FNAF2 photo backdrop.
A giant balloon “2,” creepy characters, and enough popcorn nearby to calm your nerves… maybe.
Tag who you’d (not) survive a night at Freddy’s with
And snap a pic if you see it in the lobby!

Painted portraits. Big laughs. Full hearts. 🦃🎨
This Thanksgiving we turned gratitude into art by painting each other and celebrating the faces we are most thankful for. Every wobbly line, bright color, and giggle tells a story we love.
So thankful for this crew, these memories, and the joy that fills our table.

Long video but the message was too good to shorten it.
Last Wednesday night was about more than balloons.
This Orange Out arch for #HandleHardBetter was created in honor of Cory Wiederin and his incredible family at Hope Ankeny.
When life hands you a beautiful nightmare, sometimes the only response is love, unity, and showing up loud and bold in the color that represents hope and awareness. This was a project straight from the heart. One meant to remind Cory that he is seen, supported, prayed for, and never walking this road alone.
Thank you for trusting me to be part of such a meaningful moment. We stand with you, Cory. Always.
